Since February 2026, Irrawaddy Earth vzw has been managing the online archive of the Vlaams Haïti Overleg. For many years, this network of Flemish organisations and volunteers brought together information and collaboration on solidarity with Haiti, including through the magazine Lambi and an online newsletter. Although the newsletter is no longer being published, it remains important to preserve this rich history and keep it accessible. That is why the website, previously hosted by Broederlijk Delen, has been transferred to Irrawaddy Earth.
This step also serves as a tribute to the many volunteers who have contributed to the editing and content of Lambi and the newsletter over the years.
The archive also aims to remain a repository for testimonies about the strong bond between Flanders and Haiti. Anyone wishing to share documents or stories can contact Tom D’Haeyer.
